Mr. Shreeharsha Koirala
Chairman
Mr. Koirala is the Chairman of BP Koirala Memorial Trust. He is a second of the three sons of B P Koirala. He did M Sc. in Physics from University of Bombay, India and served as the Executive Director of B P Planetarium Science Museum in Nepal. Currently, Mr. Koirala was the Vice-President of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). He spent most of his dynamic ages with his father in India where he was in exile during the days of struggle for democracy in Nepal. Mr. Shreeharsha Koirala had close associations with veteran Indian leaders as well as with different personalities from other countries.

Former Minister and Central member of Nepali Congress for a long time, Mr. Majgainya had worked in close association with B P Koirala while in exile in Banaras, India. He was the Minister for Water Resources and Agriculture in the cabinet led by G P Koirala. Mr. Majgainya is a continuation of valuebased politics in Nepal. Moreover, he is the fiction writer and poet and has published number of books on social and economic aspect of democracy.

Mr. Ram Chandra Pokharel
General Secretary
Mr. Pokharel is the General Secretary of BP Koirala Memorial Trust. He was the member of Constituent Assembly of Nepal. During the historic conference held in Chhetrapati, Kathmandu in 1990 peoples movement he was the press coordinator and after the historic change of 2006, he became the Chief of Secretary of Nepali Congress Party until the 12th convention. Mr. Pokharel was the Chairman of District Development Committee, Tanahun and founder spokesperson of Association of District Development Committee in Nepal, Mr. Pokharel is also the author of several books among them 'Prajatantraka Mahan Senani B P Koirala', the first short biography of B P, is popular one.

Mr. Basnet is alpha leader of Nepali Congress. He served the party as the chief of press department for a long time. For his dedication and commitment for values of democracy, Basnet was trusted by B P Koirala. He was close to Koirala's family that is known as the symbol of the struggle and democracy in Nepal. He is revered as a 'Living History of Nepali Congress'. Mr. Basnet is a well-known poet and writer who contributed in various newspapers and literary magazines. He has written a well documented book tracing the history of Nepali Congress Party entitled 'Nepali Congressko Itihasko Prarup' which includes the foundation of the democratic history of Nepal.

Dr. Koirala is the General Secretary of Nepali Congress party and member of the Parliament. Dr. Koirala is the youngest son of B P Koirala. He is a well known Ophthalmologist in Nepal. He substantially contributed for the establishment of B P Koirala Ophthalmology Center in Kathmandu in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj. Dr. Koirala actively participated in politics leaving his medical profession as the political climate in the country urged him to be involved in national politics.

Mr. Gurung is the Member of BP Koirala Memorial Trust. He was the Constituent Assembly Member of Nepal and a central member of Nepali Congress for a long time. He is a legendary figure of Nepali Congress who particularly represents far- eastern part of Nepal. He stands as one of the clean and classic image of democratic movement of Nepal. Mr. Gurung was the Labor Minister and Minister for Local Development in the cabinet led by G P Koirala.

Dr. Gautam is a highly acclaimed writer in Nepal. He is well-known as a trend setter in experimental fiction writing in Nepali literature. Mr. Gautam is the author of more than four dozens of book such as Alikhit, Phul ko Aatanka, Kattel Sir ko Chotpatak, Badhi that are popular among the readers. He also served as the Member Secretary in Nepal Academy. Mr. Gautam is one of the writers who were appreciated by by B P Koirala.

Mr. Sherchan is a son of Martyr Yogendra Man Sherchan, the Deputy Minister in B P Koirala's cabinet. He was involved in democratic politics since early age. Born in the ethnic Thakali community, Mr. Sherchan is an active social worker who represents the remote Himalayan district, Mustang. Mr. Sherchan was also the State Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in the cabinet led by G P Koirala.

Dr. Gyanu Pandey, who has a PhD in the subject of "Existentialism in the Literature of B.P. Koirala", is a professor at Tribhuvan University. She has over two decades of literary experience, and was also a member of Nepal Academy between 2014 and 2018. Dr. Pandey is equally distinguished as a literary figure and as a Gender Studies expert. She has been writing poems and essays for decades; all the same her primary contribution to Literature has been as a critic. She has broad knowledge on Journalism, and was a board member of Nepal Press Council.

Mr. Parajuli contributed to Nepali Congress Party Central Office as a Secretary. He has best expertise on contemporary journalism. He worked as a sub-editor of Nepal Pukar (official publication of the Nepali Congress Party). He worked in Radio Nepal and Nepal Television. He studied Journalism in England. Mr. Parajuli has a rich experience with good exposure to national and international conferences and seminars.
